Belvoir Hunt Button
The Belvoir fox hunt country lies in Leicestershire and Lincolnshire extending from Melton Mowbray and Newark in the west to the North Sea (although large parts of the Lincolnshire fenland are not hunted).
From its establishment in the mid 1700s to the late 1800s the Mastership was held by the Dukes of Rutland, except for a period between 1830- 1857 when Lord Forester was the Master.
The jacket worn by the hunt staff is red with a red velvet collar and evening dress includes a red coat with Belvoir buff facings and waistcoat also in Belvoir buff.
