Description: PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, i parchment flyleaf + 134 fols. + i parchment flyleaf, 265 x 165 mm (170 x 140 mm), three columns: central column with biblical text 170 x 70 mm, 22 lines with interlinear gloss, outer column with gloss 170 x 40 mm, varying number of lines, inner column with gloss 170 x 23 mm, varying number of lines, ruled in hard point and plummet, quiremarks.
BINDING: Late fifteenth century, Italy, brown leather over wooden boards, sewn on three supports, blind-stamped with interlaced rope work design and gilt punch dots, four small foliate corner bosses and one central boss on each cover, two leather straps (modern replacements) with metal clasps and rings on upper cover, metal catch plates on lower cover, metal title plate nailed to top of lower cover and enclosing parchment label inscribed Epistole s[an]c[t]i Pauli, modern repairs and leather replacement at head of upper cover.
