Artist Bears

The artist bears in the Museum, originating in more than 30 countries, form part of Gitte and Johnny Thorsen’s collection. The couple bought their first teddy bears in 2001 and have, ever since, collected artist bears from shows, the internet and direct from the artists themselves. The collection reflects the appealing expression and the diversity of the teddy bear. Their craftsmanship makes each teddy bear a unique work of art - One of a Kind. The teddy bears shown here, along with many more, will be on display at the new Teddy Bear Art Museum in Billund, Denmark from Spring 2018.
