The whole collection starts with original books printed in the period 1640 to 1770 (50 books partly with beautiful copper engravings).
There are also many replica's from the period 1450 - 1525 which are in a printed version of the original handpainted books (Books of Hours).
And the collection of books from between 1770 and 1900 is ofcourse hundreds and hundreds. Those have been registered but are not in an exhibition.
Here just one example of a title page of two books, printed in 1640 about the Jewish and Middle-East wisdom from before a bible was witten.
