Many families from Trelew and neighboring cities joined us for International Museum Day on Sunday, May 17th.
As planned, the Feruglio Cafe had a busy afternoon with a Science Cafe and an origami workshop. Also, paleontologist Alejandra Pagani kept everyone rooted to their seats while showing how the diversification of species and the ocassional mass extinctions are two unavoidable sides of evolution.
Visitors could also participatein our selfies contest. And the winner was... Guadalupe Petronio, a 5-year old, who took her selfie by the great Tyrannotitan, a carnivour dinosaur replica in MEF's Main Hall.
Finally, our traditional closing concert featured the Raigue Choir, an all-ladies ensemble under the direction of Prof. Karina Torres.
