A free entry public museum which tells the story of Chesterfield. We also operate the Revolution House in Old Whittington.

Chesterfield Museum tells the story of the town from Roman times to the present day. There is also a small art gallery, and a programme of temporary exhibitions and events throughout the year.

Find out how Chesterfield's famous crooked spire was built, how the market developed, and about the town's industrial heritage.
