El Museo Regional de Antropología Carlos Pellicer Cámara tiene la colección arqueológica más importante de Tabasco. Toda el área maya de México está representada en sus colecciones. Fue fundado por el poeta Carlos Pellicer Cámara en 1957 con el nombre de Museo Arqueológico de Tabasco. En el año de 1977 el gobernador del Estado, el Ing. Leandro Rovirosa Wade lo remodeló. A partir de ese año, el nuevo museo lleva el nombre del Poeta.
