Museu de Cantereria d'Agost
The Museum is housed in a former ceramic factory of the early 20th century, adapted to the needs of a nowadays museum. Throughout its halls the visitor can see firsthand the extensive collection of objects of daily use made in Agost in the last two centuries, as well as the process of making the pottery, living the experience of entering in an "Arab kiln", the area of the potters' wheels or the basins used for the decantation of the clay.
The Museum offers didactic workshops for students, adapted to the needs of each group. We also have a temporary exhibition room, a special library in ceramics and a multipurpose room for complementary activities such as courses, conferences, ...
