The Museum of the Oregon Territory holds a collection of items from the geological, Native American and American settlement of the Oregon Territory through the present. Exhibits on the second floor include Native American artifacts collected locally and along the west coast, artifacts from families who settled the area beginning in the 1840's and furnishings and personal items from early settlers. As the home of the first intercity transmission of electricity and the first industrial city west of the Rocky Mountains our exhibits also showcase this history. The Kaegi Pharmacy exhibit offers a fully stocked pharmacy from the early 1900's with stock, display cases and implements collected by the Kaegi family.

The Museum of the Oregon Territory will be closed December 15 through January 31, 2014 for winter cleaning. We will re-open February 1, 2014.
