Ohio Historical Society oversees a network of 50+ historic sites across Ohio. For more information on the sites, visit: www.ohiohistory.org/places/name.html The Ohio History Center in Columbus houses the Ohio Historical Society, the State Museum, the Archives/Library, the Ohio Historic Preservation Office, the headquarters for the sites and the headquarters of the Ohio Village. There is an admission fee to visit the State Museum and often a fee for special activities for the Ohio Village. The Ohio Village has activities during the summer for the public and on special days during the balance of the year; school children in Ohio on educational-related acitivies visit throughout the year.
