Mennello Museum of American Folk Art

The Mennello Museum of American Art offers a diverse collection of paintings and sculptures, as well as special exhibitions, publications and programs that celebrate outstanding traditional and contemporary American artists. Upcoming Exhibitions EIGHT from Florida October 14, 2011 - January 1, 2012 This is the second of two exhibits featuring works created by Florida artists that have works in either our collection or The City of Orlando's Collection. The exhibit will focus on John Chamberlain, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, Jose Bedia, Leslie Neuman, Margaret Tolbert and Sandy Winters. William H. Johnson: An American Modern 1/6 - 3/18, 2012 One of the most important African American artists of the 20th Century. Exhibit will feature paintings created in the 1930s. Organized by S.I.T.E.S (Smithsonian Institute Traveling Exhibit Services) A Collector's Dream: The World of Marilyn Mennello 1/20 - 4/1, 2012 In conjunction with the unveiling of a bronze portrait of Marilyn, the exhibit will feature some of her favorite paintings from the collection of Michael A. Mennello Imprints of Central Florida: 20 Years of Flying Horse Editions 4/13 - 9/7, 2012 The University of Central Florida has one of the best and most prolific fine art presses on the east coast. The exhibit will focus on the limited edition prints and the very fine hand-made books created by the press since its inception.
