Norfolk Island Museum

Norfolk Island Museum reveals Norfolk's amazing multi-layered stories from Polynesian beginnings to penal settlements to the home of the descendants of the Bounty mutineers and their Polynesian partners.

Located in a number of heritage buildings in Kingston, our museums, tours, café and play, help you explore our turbulent past as well as today's living culture.

Our exhibitions are located in three buildings in World Heritage Listed KAVHA. They provide the opportunity to come in to these historic buildings and learn of our fascinating history.

  • Pier Store - Housing the HMS Sirius Collection and the Pitcairn Norfolk Gallery.
  • Commissariat Store - Where KAVHA Collection artefacts from our convict settlements are housed.
  • No. 10 Quality Row - A beautifully restored house presented as Thomas Seller, Foreman of Works would have found it in 1844.
