William B. Kolender San Diego County Sheriff's Museum
For over 150 years, even before the first day that California was admitted into statehood of the United States of America, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department has been keeping the peace. Our museum honors the rich traditions and history of the men and women who have served with pride.
None of our history would be preserved in the excellent manner that it is without the hard work, vision and dedication of retired Deputy Sheriff Don VanHooser.
The William B. Kolender Sheriff's Museum and Educational Center preserves and promotes the history of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department for the enlightenment and education of visitors of all ages.
