Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium

Northern New England's museum of Natural History The Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium is a place to explore the wonders of our universe. Founded in 1891 from Franklin Fairbanks' cabinet of curiosities, the collections include animals and artifacts, dolls and tools, shells and fossils, and much more! Home to the Eye on the Sky weather center and Vermont's only public planetarium. An amazing, interactive OmniGlobe takes you to the surface of planets in our solar system and allows you to explore weather and ocean patterns on our Earth. All this under the triumphant arch of our classic Victorian building, a cornerstone of St. Johnsbury's Historic Main Street District.
