The LaHave Islands Marine Museum has a Canada 150 Celebration exhibition, June-Labour Day 2017, titled "Our History Through Art". Using original maps, prints, photographs and paintings, thery trace local and Nova Scotia life and evolution towards confederation. The exhibit is located in their century old church/museum, beyond Crescent Beach and over the two bridges to Bell's island. Enjoy the drive along Crescent Beach at low tide (yes, its OK to drive there- slowly!) and watch for the plentiful Blue Herons as you approach the first bridge. Great way to spend a few hours and a picnic and a great exhibition...enjoy!!
