Laura Verigin Textiles Collection

Upon her marriage to Honourary Chairman of the Union of Spiritual Communities of Christ, the late John J Verigin, Laura became the custodian of the vintage textiles, hand made by community Doukhobors, and gifted to various members of the Verigin family over the 20^th century. Having lovingly and carefully pulled each item out of storage for airing and refolding on an annual basis at 89 years of age Laura is ready to pass this responsibility on to the next generation.

The textiles display can be seen inside the Main Dom (Communal Dwelling) at the Doukhobor Discovery Centre (DDC).
