Photographic studio from the end of the 19th century
This exhibition opened in 1989. The photographer Josip Pelikan worked in the studio from 1920. Today the studio contains a permanent exhibition on the rich and creative life and work of the photographer and artist Josip Pelikan, who masterly captured Celje and the Celje region of his days in timeless photographs. On the ground floor of the studio the visitors can enter the dark room and the retouch room as well as take a look at the master's technical equipment, portraits, glass plates and original photographs. The first floor contains a beautiful glass parlour with all original equipment, where Pelikan created his masterpieces with the help of natural light.
