Talented opera singers from the DJ Gong Studio will continue to bring audience with irresistible performance from now to November 2019 at the University Museum and Art Gallery of the University of Hong Kong.

Led by world renowned Bass Dongjian Gong, the studio identifies and nurtures young artists in the operatic arts, and assists them at critical junctures in their professional development. Through a wide range of annual programmes, performances and partnerships, DJ Gong Studio aspires to create a strong community of alumni and a platform for a lifetime of encouragement, opportunity and support.

ABOUT UMAG
Founded in 1953, UMAG is the oldest continuously operated museum in Hong Kong. Chief among its collections are the Museum’s ceramics, which display the extraordinary achievements of the Chinese potter from jars painted in the Neolithic period to the decorative porcelains of the Qing dynasty. The permanent collection is complemented by a broad range of special exhibitions and contemporary and ancient art works, including chinoiserie tapestries produced by the Beauvais manufactory in France and 100 documentary images from the renowned Magnum photographer Erich Lessing.
