WOMEN’S WEALTH – DISCUSSION CIRCLE: FOOD

Take part in this discussion circle where you’ll sample traditional food from Bougainville and Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), and learn about the importance of nurturing and preserving knowledge through traditional cultural practices like cooking and weaving.

The discussion circle will be hosted by Elisa Jane Carmichael (Ngugi people of the Quandamooka waters and Women’s Wealth artist) and Veronica Henderson (President of the Brisbane Bougainville Community Group).

This program celebrates International Museum Day 2019.
