[WORKSHOP] WOODBLOCK PRINT WORKSHOP

This workshop will introduce the technique of woodblock printing using water-soluble colours. Participants will create their own print(s) in reference to the heritage sites and natural features found around the campus of The University of Hong Kong.

Audience and Limit: Aged 12 or above, maximum 15 people per class

Instructor: Parry Ling Chin Tang

Born in Hong Kong, Parry Ling received his Bachelor’s degree from the Fine Arts Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006 and his Master’s degree from the Academy of Visual Arts of Hong Kong Baptist University in 2014. He devotes himself to art making and has participated in various local exhibitions including the 2012 Hong Kong International Sculpture Symposium. In 2015, he was awarded the HKETO-NY Yale China Arts Fellowship to conduct community arts research in the US and to participate in the International Festival for Arts and Ideas 2015.
