Great War concert party

Travel back in time with our fantastic troupe of performers for a special evening full of music, song, poetry recitals and comedy. We were delighted to discover evidence in our archives that Fort Nelson presented music hall style events in the late 19th century. Music halls were at their most popular during the early period of the First World War when their entertainment programmes were used to drum up support and enthusiasm for the troops. This special evening of entertainment will mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War.
