Artist's Book Workshop with Leonie Bradley

Make an artist’s book that can be filled with artwork or used as a sketchbook to fill with ideas. The format is endlessly adaptable and you will look at a selection of artist’s books using the concertina fold. Leonie will also demonstrate how to make a range of other simple artist’s books that you can experiment with. Learn how to make a book end covering greyboard with book cloth, how to recognise paper grain, tips for folding and working with paper. Using archival glues, using a bone folder, pricker and glue brush. Please bring a sketchbook/notebook and pencil. If you have sketches, photos, prints, paper or anything else you would like to use, please bring them with you, but this is not essential.
