Meet Florence Nightingale

Come along to the museum to meet Miss Nightingale. She’ll tell you how she got her name, why she fought to become a nurse and how she improved the conditions for soldiers and nurses during the Crimean War. Find out why she became known as The Lady with the Lamp. Florence is part of the national curriculum for 5-6 year olds in Key Stage 1. So bring them to the museum to bring their learning to life! Performances start at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.00pm. Free with paid admission to the museum
