International Museum Day 2018

National Museums of Sri Lanka has celebrated International Museum Day on 18th of May 2018. An exhibition was organized based on Sri Lankan Elephant Tusks, Elephant Pearls and some of rare and colourful Sea shells in the collection of Zoology section. The title of the exhibition was "Treasures from Nature". Several numbers of Elephant tusks, Ivory artifacts, Elephant Pearls and several rare and colourful sea shells were displayed.
