IMD 2018: Treasures of the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum Collection

For International Museum Day 2018 the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum of Mongolia will organize the exhibition "Treasures of the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum Collection", offering vistors the opportunity to glimpse over 200 never before seen treasures part of our musuem collection, curated both in their physical forms and through the use of video slides.

The Bogd Khaan Palace Museum is also partnering with the Mongolian Contemporary Art Support Association to feature the works of B. Bat-Erdene, a well known and prominent Mongolian media artist who has taken inspiration from the museum collection to create video instillation and media art pieces that will engage a wider and new public through the new approach of Mongolian Contemporary Art. 

The exhibition will also be accompanied by an Academic Open Meeting and Discussion, which will be overseen by Dr. O.Batsaikhan of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, and a Educational Program tailored to students at the School of Mongolian Language, Literature, and Journalism.

The "Treasures of the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum Collection" will be open to the public from May 18, 2018 - 4 June, 2018.
