To celebrate the International Museum Day, the Palace Museum’s Publicity and Education Department plans and organizes various events on and around 18 May. As part of the celebrations, 360 visitors are invited to take part in one of the activities—“Hyperconnected at the PM: Changing your life by art”, which takes place on the 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th and 18th of May.
This activity focuses on the interaction between visitors and artworks. The visitors from different age groups create various artistic forms of paintings which are later used to make a super “folding screen”, a type of free-standing furniture that consists of many elaborately designed panels.
Targeted group:
Families with children aged between 7 and 12
Middle school students aged between 13 and 17
Adults above the age of 18
Autistic children (a special session on 18 May)
