The Late Shows

Head to Seven Stories for an evening celebrating comic art set to a soundtrack of comics-inspired tunes. They will be sharing their love of comics and getting everyone involved - how about creating supersized comic art in the Studio or dressing up as a comic character in the Attic? There will be live drawing from local comic artist and writer, Nigel Auchterlounie who writes and draws for the Beano and will be signing copies of his new book Dennis and the Chamber of Mischief, available to buy in the Bookshop. Bring your latest comic creations for Nigel to see and learn tips and tricks as you draw along. The Café will be in on the fun serving ‘Gnashers Bangers’ to keep rumbling tummies at bay along with a good old fashioned tuck shop for those with a sweet tooth! Before you head off into the night, be sure to join in with a Late Shows Spotlight Tour where one our Story Catchers will share their personal highlights from the eclectic mix of original comic art on display in our interactive Comics exhibition.
