London Craft Week: Meet an armourer

For London Craft Week, we’re discovering how and why armour is designed and made. Graham Ashford will demonstrate some armouring techniques and give you the chance to handle the finished pieces. Graham started full-time armouring in 2008 after winning a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust award to apprentice for three years with Master Armourer David Hewitt of White Rose Armouries. He makes armour for re-enactors, collectors and museums.
