Tournament Training

Saturday 24 March & Sunday 25 March Training sessions at a 12noon & 3pm Watch the Royal Armouries’ team of knights as they practice in our purpose-built outdoor tiltyard. They will be honing their tournament skills in preparation for our international Easter Tournament (Friday 30 March – Monday 2 April). Royal Armouries’ resident knight Andy Deane and ‘sister-in-arms’ Nicky Willis will be taking on some of the best jousters in the world over Easter so these training sessions will be full-on, and will give you a real sense of what it takes to compete at international level in this extreme sport. Come and lend them your support as they prepare to go up against teams from France, Poland and Australia. There will be a chance to meet the tournament team and the horses after the training session.
