Historic Haslemere - An Exhibition at Haslemere Museum

An exhibition which reveals the fascinating history of Haslemere told through beautifully illustrated story boards where visitors will be taken on a journey about the history of the town. Some interesting and rare exhibits will also be on display as well as five paintings depicting the 1786 murder of an unknown sailor at Hindhead. The vicious nature of the crime shocked local people and the murder became famous nationwide. For anyone interested in local history, this exhibition is a must!
