Concrete Jewellery Workshop

Join jewellery designer/maker Rhiannon Palmer and learn how to create stunning necklaces from concrete. A finalist in the Etsy Award 2016, Rhiannon has hosted these workshops at a range of London venues including the London Craft Club and the Museum of London. Through the creation of unique, hand cast concrete jewellery Rhiannon aims to show others just how tactile and beautiful concrete can be. " Concrete is too often thought of as a harsh industrial material, but it has such versatility as a creative medium. It has this amazingly tactile quality with the ability to be both rough and smooth. " - Rhiannon Palmer Over the course of this workshop you will design and make two concrete necklaces. In doing this you will learn about the design process, how to work safely with concrete and basic mould making skills. Suitable for 16+
