Creating the Contemporary: Working with Contemporary Artists and Designers in Museums

This two-day course is a unique opportunity to harness the V&A's extensive expertise, exploring different ways of working with contemporary artists and designers, enabling participants to explore the unique potential of their own institutions. Museums and historic sites are working more closely with artists and designers to create site-specific works, temporary interventions, and festivals. Collaborations with artists and designers are advantageous for museums as they allow for creative freedoms and new way of interpreting the collections.
