DOGS' DALES

Studio 1 Pop-Up Exhibition - Free Entry Located in the vacant front corner unit of Skipton Town Hall, open from the 3rd January - Mid May, Monday to Saturday 12 - 4pm. Studio1 is a new exciting interactive Digital Media experience based around DOGS' DALES; an original animated film made with local wool art. The production will be set in a visitor friendly open studio environment in Skipton Town Hall till end of February 2017, hosted by three professional local artists. STUDIO 1 is an open studio format creative space where people can visit in office hours (same as Town Hall) and try out different Digital Media techniques in our Activity Stations as well as interact with artists at work on three different projects: Dogs' Dales - An animated short film inspired by Skipton and Craven and featuring real local locations and real local characters in an anthropomorphic dog form. (For example Judy P. Town Hall ambassador is going to be a golden spaniel. ) The Animation is made using local wool as a material. People have access to follow a professional animation production from the stat to finish with a local subject on location and online. Virpi Kettu from Kettu Studios is the director and animator of this project.
