Young Curators: Artists' Voices

Young Curators is for 13-19 year olds who are interested in learning more about art and how galleries and museums work. The group meet to work on projects related to upcoming exhibitions. This might be working with a professional artist to create their own artworks to be displayed in the gallery, or working with the learning and curatorial team to develop an exhibition. The Lightbox is an Arts Award centre, so you can also work towards a Bronze or Silver Arts Award. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, get creative, have something unique on your CV and eat chocolate biscuits! Artists’ Voices The Young Curators will explore the lives and work of the artists within the ‘In their own words: Artists’ Voices from The Ingram Collection’ exhibition, and create visual and written content based on their own responses to the work on display. 4 Thursday sessions on: 20 April, 27 April, 4 May, 11 May 2017 4.30pm for a 4.45pm start – 6.45pm £25 for 4 sessions
