Recent Excavations in Bourton on the Water

Afternoon Talk with Dr Alison Brookes Archaeological excavations by Cotswold Archaeology were undertaken at the Cotswold School in 2011. They revealed the remains of significant archaeological deposits consisting of 240 pits and postholes, 6 ditches and 21 human burials. Join Dr Alison Brookes to discover more about a site that has unearthed finds and features from the Iron Age and Roman periods.
