Original shot-list description: Badonviller, Meurthe-et-Moselle, France, Mar. 7, 1918 - Mal-Grejen Farm. The 117th Trench Mortar Battery, 42nd Div. loading a trench mortar. This gun and crew kept up a continual fire during the bombardment of March 4, 1918, in spite of the fact that they were blown off their feet three or tour times. The 117th Trench Mortar Battery was formerly the 3rd and 4th Companies Maryland Coast Artillery.
