Wooden anthropoid coffin, with pedestal and foot board. Highly decorated with hieroglyphs and depictions of gods/goddesses. Late Period, 26th Dynasty-27th Dynasty. Taken to Cardiff for conservation work. In the bottom casing a cartonnage was found, which may belong to a different coffin, different period. Originally made for Ankhpared in Thebes and later used by Djed Hor in Akhmim. The body is presently (2005) being studied by Rosalie David, having been given to a school in Sussex. The body is female.
