Panel of a tapestry shows the Madonna and Child seated in front of some columns. The Virgin wears a loose wrapper dress, of a fichu and high waistline, in late 18th century style, and a cloak. Both have halos lightly indicated in silver thread. Wool warp, and wool weft with silk highlights. 23 warps to the inch (2.5 cm) Size: 51 x 37 cm
