These lamps were made between late 30s and early 1940s, production finished in the mid 1980s., , , , The number "53 1286" and "D" are engraved on the base.There are numbers engraved on the inside of the base aswell. "41 129 53/1259 13 D".Glass is engraved : PLCL 58 1/4 MP 59 ½ British MFP". 5 brass pillars plus one sliding pillar locks bonnet in place, the base can then be locked with spring loaded magnetic pin. , , , , Height: 230mm x Diameter of base: 85mm. Weight: 1.29kgs. The engraved plate on the front of the bonnet says it has had 3 owners. Condition in 1999: very good condition. Date of manufacture from 1950 to present.
