Pottery offering stand

Pottery offering-table or stand, with a rectangular, open-work base supporting a circular stand. Two sides of the base depict human figures with simply carved faces and short, bowed legs. The figures may represent achondroplastic dwarfism, which the Egyptians associated with protective gods like Bes. This Dates to the Middle Kingdom and was found at Kahun.
