Kruthorn, probably German, the later half of the 15th century (1560-1580?).
Carbon of yellow-brown deer horn down unworked back.
On the front engraved decoration: standing man and woman in the 1500s costumes. The man wears a barette, pluder pants, socks, has a beard and keeps a hoist. The lady wears a barette with a large plume, hairnet and long, plaid skirt. In her hand, she holds a club-like object. The background recessed, vertical lines. At the sides and between the figures bushy acanthus leaves. The man and the woman stand on each shield-like pedestal, in the man’s a bomb mark in the form of two corrupted rods (?), forming a closed triangle, at each angle an up- and downturned heart. Side stretchers with parallel cross strokes and points. On the h side a wide acanthus board. Through, 2 side holes is one with green wire coated copper wire faced. On a horn kept patch written in pencil and tusch: Brunius F.i Landskrona.
