Knight’s Cross, The Sword, Sweden, model from the beginning of the 18th century.
White enamelled Maltese cross of gold, wavy edges, small balls on the tips. A vaulted medallion with a blue enamel, a wavy gold edge, a sword and three crowns of gold, a medallion with a green enamelled laurel wreath and a sword and a text of gold: “PRO PATRIA.”
Between the cross arms open gold crowns with pearls and stones of blue, red and yellow enamel. Across the upper cross arms two crossed swords with their tips down, blue enamelled hooks, on the cross pearl of blue enamel. Over and above fixed royal crown of gold with pearls of blue, yellow and white enamel, over the apple firm ring and therein attached oval, spiral ribbon ring of gold.
