A Documenting Homes collection from Alec Turner about his family home at 182 Whittington Way, Pinner, Middlesex in the 1950s and 1960s. The collection comprises one questionnaire and eighty-four 35mm colour transparency slides. Alec lived with his parents Selwyn and Jo, his older brother Jim, and older sister Jayne in a detached, two-storey house with three bedrooms, later extended to four. Selwyn Turner was an engineer and amateur photographer. This collection includes slides from family holidays which Selwyn used to show as part of home slideshows. This material was acquired as part of the Documenting the Home Project between 2009 and 2011.
