Ruthorn of yellow-white, flat-pressed horn with engraved decor, on the narrow-sides simple braid straps, on the back three fields with concentric circles against streaked background. The two fields of the front side are divided by dashed tree trunks. In the v, larger field there is a seated lady, brought in 1530s costume with a pipe collar, h. arm holds a broken column (= Persistence, with inscription: “Fortitudo” (bravery, standing). In her hand, she holds a plume (= lascivitas, easiness). At the column base year number: 1591. In h field a mustache adorned warrior with a helmet, shield and spear (Interpretation: the stand gives way to easiness).
The bottom of steel with a straight saw, two screw holes. Nozzle (flattened cone) of brass, closed with a flat wooden bud with small wings. Two engraved arches at the mouth. Sawtoothed hem with points, stripes and wave line. two screws. Ciselated: BPS. On the back: 1812. On the horn labeling: 5667. Nozzle + stopper, l: 99 mm.
