The Museum of Paleontology Egidio Feruglio has a collection of over 25,000 fossils from the Patagonia region (Argentina), covering every major geological era. Specimens include terrestrial and marine specimens, from tiny invertebrates to large dinosaurs and also plants.
The fossils are conserved according to international standards to ensure their preservation for future studies. Every year, paleontologists from national and international institutions visit MEF to study its fossil materials.
