EXHIBITS OF THE COMPLEX The tragedy that happened to Sureyya Mashadi Dadash gizi

Sureyya Mashadi Dadash gizi, an 18-year-old resident of the village of Khojaly, Javad district, stated in her statement to Novatsky, a member of the Extraordinary Investigation Commission under the Government of Azerbaijan:

"When the Armenian Bolsheviks attacked our village of Khojaly, I fled to the hills of the prairie, seeking refuge with my infant daughter and two younger brothers – Abbas Ali, aged 9, and Abi Samed, aged 6. Also with us were fellow villagers Annana Allahverdi gyzy, Tuvi Mashadi Mikayil gyzy, and Goncha Ibadulla gyzy with her baby boy.

We found ourselves surrounded by eight Armenians, intent on committing unspeakable acts. Agakishi Ibadulla oghlu bravely protested, enraging the Armenians who then opened fire on us. As we stood together, we all fell to the ground. Miraculously, only I, my brothers, and my child survived, though I suffered injuries to my left shoulder, right arm, and right leg, causing immense pain.

Shortly thereafter, the Armenians returned with my other Muslim fellow villagers and callously executed them on the spot. Desperate and in agony, I pleaded with them to end my life too, but they heartlessly refused, claiming they wanted my Muslim brothers to witness my suffering. To my horror, they noticed that my infant and brothers were still alive. In a cruel turn, they mercilessly stabbed them with a sword right before my eyes and left me there, broken.

It's important to note that Goncha's baby also survived the initial onslaught, only to be stabbed later. Fortunately, I was discovered by Muslims from the Beshtali village, who took me in and laid to rest the bodies of those who had been brutally killed."

Во время нашествия армянских большевиков на нашу деревню я бежала в сторону холмов чтобы укрыться там вместе со своей младшей дочерью, двумя малолетними братьями – 9-летним Аббасали и 6-летним Абу Самедом. Также с нами были односельчане Аннааной Аллахверди гызы, Тохва Мешади Микаил гызы, Гонча Ибадулла гызы с ее грудным малышом и старик Агакиши Ибадулла оглу. Армянские всадники в составе 8 человек нашли и окружили нас. Они намеревались изнасиловать красивых среди нас. Старик Агакиши Ибадулла оглу стал храбро протестовать и возражать этому. Армяне пришли в ярость и открыли огонь по нам. Мы все упали на землю. Армяне ускакали прочь. Я была ранена в левое плечо, правую руку и ногу. Хотя была невыносимая боль я выжила. Мои ребенок, братья и сестры тоже были живы. Грудной ребенок Гончи тоже выжил. Все остальные были мертвы. Я очень страдала от боли. Вскоре эти армяне вернулись и привели с собой 4 мусульман, которых безжалостно казнили на том же месте. В отчаянии и агонии я хотела покончить с собой. Я умоляла армян застрелить меня. Они отказались, заявив, что оставляют меня живой, чтобы мои братья-мусульмане могли видеть мои страдания. А когда они увидели, что мой ребенок и мои братья живы, то они зарезали их прямо на груди и убили. Выжившего малыша односельчанки Гончи армяне тоже безжалостно убили штыками.

Меня нашли мусульмане из села Бешталы и привезли в свою деревню. Они также похоронили тела убитых.
